Founded in 2010 with support from Roy City and Weber County RAMP, the Roy Hope Youth Club is part of the Roy Hope Community Center, located next to the Roy City Administration Building and Fire Department. The center is a true community hub, often visited by police officers, firefighters, and local leaders.

We serve 300 K–6th grade students each year, offering free programs that include:

  • Academic enrichment & homework help
  • Character-building activities
  • Healthy lifestyle programs

Every child receives a daily healthy snack, and our programs are made possible through partnerships with local non-profits and community agencies.

Attendance Policy
To remain enrolled, members are required to attend a minimum of 3 days and 6 hours of programming each week.

  • Missing this requirement will result in a Weekly Warning, giving members 1 week to meet attendance.
  • Two consecutive weeks of unmet attendance will result in the member being moved to the waitlist to allow other students the opportunity to participate.

Programs offered at the Roy Youth Club

The Roy Youth Club provides a fun, safe, and enriching afterschool experience where kids can learn, grow, and discover new interests. Our programs include:

  • Academic Support – Daily homework help and tutoring to keep students on track.
  • STEM Activities – Hands-on experiments and projects that spark curiosity and problem-solving.
  • The Arts – Creative fun through music, art, and imaginative projects.
  • Social-Emotional Learning – Building confidence, kindness, and positive friendships.
  • Cooking & Healthy Living – Learning basic kitchen skills and healthy habits.
  • Sports & Recreation – Staying active with games, fitness, and outdoor play.
  • Leadership & Character Building – Encouraging responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth.

…and much more to keep kids engaged, supported, and excited to come to Club every day!
