Boys & Girls Clubs of Weber Davis
Boys & Girls Clubs of Weber Davis opened its first (after-school program) site in Roy, Utah in 2000. It is currently operating six sites located in Weber County.
Create @ The Club brings in artists, musicians, and dancers to provide high quality arts education activities to all our members. The program offers activities such as drama, choir, art, guitar, ukulele, piano, dance, photography, graphic design and so much more!
"Tell Your Story"
To increase access to high-quality programs, Boys & Girls Clubs of Weber Davis collaborated with Spy Hop, non-profit youth digital media organization, to provide our teens with a series of workshops to learn the process of creating their story through video. Our teens learned the techniques of pre-production, creating short lists & storyboarding, editing, production and post- production. Spy Hop’s states, “Their mission is to mentor young people in the digital media arts to help them find their voice, tell their stories, and be empowered to affect positive change in their lives, their communities, and the world.”
